This process allows us to receive real-time authorization and Address Verification Service (AVS). In addition, we can set up recurring monthly payments for the debtor where their payments are automatically deducted until the balance is paid in full! Automated Clearing House (ACH) According to the Federal Reserve, next to cash, checks are the most frequently used method of completing transactions. ACH checks over the phone or internet in the United States are now more common than manually written checks. The Automated ClearingHouse (ACH) provides for electronic single or recurring check payments, which results in early recovery. We have debtors that say the same thing month to month …"the check's in the mail" or "I'll drop it off tomorrow" With ACH we can electronically debit a debtor immediately or on their due date until the balance is paid in full! Credit Bureau Reporting One option for collecting debt is to forward the debtor to the major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) to mark the debtor's record for lack of payment. This will be an obvious detriment to the debtor's credit report adding difficulty for future credit purchase attempts. Once reported to the credit bureaus - the debtor must negotiate with us get this negative information removed from their credit report. More often than not, the debtor will pay their balance in full just to clean up their credit! The E-OSCAR system is a state-of-the-art solution for processing consumer disputes and can instantly remove any debtor from the credit bureau outside our normal reporting cycle. This system ensures our ability to be in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Skip Tracing Although skip tracing is both time consuming and costly, it is vital in collection and recovery efforts. We are networked with the finest skip tracing databases available, giving us the power to locate a debtor quickly. We don't just skip over debtors we cannot locate - we find them. With the technology from Noble Systems, ESA has almost doubled its contact rates while improving program management and reducing costs. Periodically, we run dialer campaigns that enable us to make contact with those hard-to-reach debtors. We have several ways of achieving this: Voice Message Broadcasting - This is a method of calling where the phone system dials from our database and plays a pre-recorded message either to an individual or to an answering machine. This technique is used to provide instructions on how to contact us. Automatic Phone Dialing - This traditional method of calling dials a number from a phone list when one of our agents is available to take a call. When the number is dialed, the phone system transfers the call to the agent. Predictive Dialing - Predictive dialing is very similar to automatic dialing, except the phone system dials several numbers ahead to reduce the amount of wait time between calls that our agents can handle. These automatic dialers are an effective medium for reaching thousands of debtors! Why?
